GE Healthcare wanted to show the impact they are making in rural markets with their new portable ultrasound, and how it benefits infant and maternal mortality. This shoot spanned the countries of Tanzania and Indonesia, in hospital clinics in which some had no electricity. Shot on the RED Scarlet, the client was able to pull high-res image stills for print use, as well.
GE requested a unique approach to showcase how their new ultrasound system can enable users to take the technology to a new level - much like the freedom you experience from bicycle training wheels to a competition bike.
When GE launched their new system that enables doctors to tell women who may have a suspicious lesion whether or not it's cancer within 10 minutes, we wanted to make sure we were telling both sides of the story, from both the doctor's - and patient's - perspective.
